Picture
Allison Edwards Marshall, a Jacksonville native, has captivated audiences for over 36 years as a masterful violinist and dedicated entrepreneur. Starting the violin at age 9 with the First Coast Suzuki Players, she refined her artistry under Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra luminaries like Melissa Pierson Barrett and Dr. Marguerite Richardson.

A graduate of Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, Allison studied Music Business at Belmont University in Nashville and pursued Music Performance and Journalism at the University of North Florida, where she played 2nd violin in the renowned Larsen String Quartet.

Her versatile career spans orchestras, including Jacksonville University Symphony and Teatro Lirico D’Europa’s Madama Butterfly, rock performances with Foreigner and COLD, and theater productions like Fiddler on the Roof and Cinderella.

A certified Suzuki violin teacher, Allison has inspired students for over 20 years, notably leading the strings program at Jacksonville School of Music.

Since founding String Theory Music in 2000, Allison has built a premier ensemble of musicians, earning 5-star reviews for unforgettable wedding and event performances across Northeast Florida. Offstage, she enjoys gardening, holistic wellness, and adventures with her husband, Jeremy, a fellow musician, their daughters, Violet (8) and Avalon (6), and their dog, Apple.
